It is rediculous to compare the G35 to the RS4 with 120 more horsepower. Car and Driver magazine did a comparo between the BMW M3 the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG and the Audi RS 4. These are the cars that fall into the same category. The Audi RS4 finished last with the C63 AMG second and the BMW M3 finishing first. These were the 2007 models. As the owner of a 2010 Mercedes Benz E coupe I can tell you that you better hope that nothing goes wrong with your Audi. Even the normal dealer maintenance of German cars is far more expensive than the comparable service on the G35.

Cant compare the 2, even from a price point they are near 20-30k apart. The G's sexy appeal is the low maintenance cost, good power level, and handling at an affordable price point. They are in no way comparable specially when you consider what they were both designed to do.

As the other's have said, this is a pointless comparison because they are two completely different cars...you're comparing an entry level sports sedan to Audi's $65,000 cream of the crop? Of course the RS4 is a better performer.

Gotta agree. Of course the G is going to be outclassed in pretty much everything because they are such different cars. We know you bought a new car, but now it's more like it's being rubbed in peoples faces lol. It's like going on a Civic forum and asking if selling yours to get an NSX was worth it.

the rs4 is superior in every way except if you want to drift and cost of parts. I hope you bought extended warranty with that car. You got a nice 50% off msrp since you bought used but unfortunately parts and service still cost the same as a $110k candian that the car was originally worth.

I use to have a modded mercedes amg c32 , i dusted porsches, mustangs, m3's with that car. Problem was Parts costs a fortune, even diy and buying parts online.

I loved that car, the german refinement and interior is awesome but german cars are a money pit after warranty is over.

Parts for the g35 are dirt cheap. I would suggest just getting a beater daily driver and keep the miles low on the rs4.
