new g35, having trouble finding nismo poly bumper

i try to avoid starting useless dumb threads but i have been searching for a g35 coupe nismo front bumper made out of poly.

first i read baus auto is the goods and to buy bumpers from them. more searching i see baus auto been scamming people and not even returning emails/texts/pms

then i read strafe is the way to go, but then see people have trouble with them....

I come from a mk4 VW where OEM bumpers/lips ruled over anything aftermarket. now i see with g35s OEM bumpers are out of production and everyone goes with aftermarket bumpers, poly of course.

i do not want to be scammed and want an oem 'like' bumper. fitment means a lot to me and dont want some haggard piece of ****. i also dont mind higher prices, i just want to be able to buy confidently. i dont body parts off ebay, and have been trying to figure out where to buy the nismo bumper..

Hey man. Welcome and congrats! To be honest with you, I really don't know where to look either, however I haven't browsed the marketplace in a while so I'm not sure what's all goin' on over there. It's a real bummer that reliable sources for parts are becoming scarce.

Maybe check these guys out? https://g35driver.com/forums/exterio...dan-coupe.html I didn't read through the posts but the thread seems to be fairly recent so maybe they're okay. Good luck man.

Thanks for the welcome. yea kind of a bummer. the cf evo-r spoiler i really like seems to be super hard to get too. i got the ionic dynamics cf nismo rear diffuser which is the one piece i have had luck on. the bumper and trunk/spoiler pieces are the last im looking for. maybe some skirts but i like the 06 sport skirts i got so probably will leave them.

i did see R1 and just asked for a price like 15 minutes ago lol, good catch. i read through the whole thread and no real review of the products. i do know of a guy in baltimore who was like #1 go to for vw guys in MD, hopefully he could make the bumper work if i go with it.

Yeah man. I kind of wish I would've bought my exterior parts like a year-year and a half ago back when there were a lot of reputable vendors. Maybe everyone will start buying non-replica parts again haha. Google might be your best bet for those kind of parts.

R1 quoted me like 150 bucks more than strafe and another vender did.

I hate to reply in such an old thread, but I am in the same exact boat as this guy and I have been trying everywhere to find someone reputable who is selling a poly nismo front for my 06 g35 coupe and have had no luck. I tried a couple vendors listed like R1 and carbodykits.com, but their numbers don't seem to work and I can't get in touch with them. I also don't want to buy anything off ebay - does anyone have any current sources for where I could buy this? thank you

If you're on Facebook then join the V35 Coupe Drivers page.

R1 seems to post/reply on there, and I personally would recommend Outcast Garage (ask for Chris). I personally haven't been on the forums in a long time, and the group pages and vendors there are much more efficient IMO.

Here's a parts page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/294950680612421/

Edit: Read my posts on page 2.

That's interesting. I have a Kuruma Z sitting in my garage that I got from Outcast a few months back that hasn't been painted yet.
