Bumps on upper dash

I noticed today that there are these bumps on my upper dash that started to appear. I was curious if anybody else had this problem or if there is a way to fix it? Thanks.

That's where the passenger airbag is, but I don't know what you could do to fix those bumps.

Did you paint the silver trim next to the A/C and defroster vents yourself?

That's what I figured. I didn't know if anybody else has this problem, or if it is worth bringing into the dealer to complain about it.

The silver is actually brushed aluminum. I bought this really cheap brushed aluminum dash that was made out of this vinyl-like material off of ebay. Some of the pieces fit, some did not. That's what I expect for $20. I then mixed it up with some carbon fiber pieces and it turned out decent. I'll try to take some close ups later.

Those bumps are really strange.....almost like the airbag unit is trying to escape!

It is def worth a call to the dealer, because it might be a saftey issue. Also, I'm not sure how you would fix that...

take it to the dealer and have them check on it. i wouldn't want to have an unexpected deployment in a HOTT femme's face. i might not find her attractive anymore, and leave her.
