Engine dying after getting my JWT clutch and flywheel installed
But onto more serious matters i'm not too too familiar with Nissan/Infiniti speciality shops in the area but a buddy of mine got a full suburu build done at TPG Tuning. also if you join this facebook group they might be able to help you out some. its a pittsburgh G/Z's group https://www.facebook.com/groups/2135...okmark_t=group
now if you were in the philly area i could def recomend a shop
OP... that's not mine in the photo- I'm an AT so I'm not so equipped.
I just went looking for other 350 / G35 lightweight flywheels as a reference to confirm that they all had teeth on them and not the ridges you were wondering about. That was just to check that concern off the list.
Sorry for the confusion.

quick update what u guys think
So, just got off the phone with the people over at the shop. I will be taking my car over to TPG recommended to me by a few people. They are going to tow my car over there for free. They are asking me to pay for 563.00 dollars for the labor, even though the car was not fixed. Once the car gets there and they fix it being that it was installed incorrectly, the old shop will take over the bill.
Does this sound right.....
Or should I not even pay the bill for this ....

dmelo818 was it fixed? was it really the fw alignment?
I am having the same issue, has CEL light with P0021 code after the shop installed the JWT kit.
Please let me know so I can call the shop a.ka. ("performance shop vq specialist") that installed mine. I'll give them a chance to correct what they did, if they'll deny accountability or charge me again for labor, I'll barrage them through yelp.

I'm glad and happy for you bro!
now being specific here, did TPG confirmed to you that fw was not align to the crankshaft sensor of the engine? i took a pic of my fw and I know there are 8 holes for bolts in the middle center, but I did not take a pic of the back of the fw. Is there a tiny hole at the back of the FW that should be align to the crankshaft of engine sensor?
Based on the links you posted, I am almost certain that's where the mistake of the installation occured. I am just trying to gather more info as much as I could so I can slap them all in the face at once.
This thread is really helpful for me btw so thank you much!

By the way I kept sending the first shop diagrams and pictures, even had my best friend call them who is a master mechanic and explain to them what they needed to do and still they could not get it working. good thing TPG was around.
Thank you for confirming that bro, now I am ready for war.. LOL!
BTW, I'm from SoCal so can't go to TPG. If worst comes to worst that the shop would deny to correct the issue, I know another reputable shop that specializes in infiniti/Nissan performance shop that I could go around my area and they really know how to work with our cars and they are ASE certified master tech. They are just too expensive.. I guess I should've paid that "peace of mind" $$$.
