03 G35 coupe (auto) Radiator cooling mods and etc help-opinons

Whats up people..i got a 03 coupe with 102k..bought it almost 2 years ago with 97k..i thnk the factory radiator is still in it etc..when i take for drives etc, after i park i can smell (faint) antifreeze so i figure it might be time to upgrade etc..most of the Aluminum radiators are for MTs...(2-row) ..can i use one of these radiator-fan combos such as the mishimoto with adding the external transmission cooler and everything will fit and work like the ones they sell on ebay etc..(might as well by the best the first time)..also gonna maybe roll with the HKS duel-hi power exhaust, with kinetix high flow cats (yet another thing is the exhaust flanges-pipes-cats are probably due for a change soon) but is it really worth that extra grand compared to decent brand names out there in the 900-1300 mark...?? thanx

Mishimoto radiators don't fit, KOYOs do!

Smelling antifreeze doesn't mean you need a new radiator! Chances are you just have a hose leaking allowing a drip or two, that's what you're smelling. Have a shop pump up the pressure in your radiator to find the leak and replace the hose/clamps....I just saved you some major $$ Your question about the exhaust, HKS is a great system if they've removed the restriction in the crossover! You'll need to ask before buying it. HFCs (high flow cats) are a great way to free up extra whp since there's a ton of restriction in the factory cats and you'll love the sound....Gary

koyos fit without any other mods? read that a transmission cooler was needed for some aluminum radiator with the automatic transmissions and a possible better fan system too...im just lookn to go aluminum and buy the best 1 time instead of half assing it ...this is not a daily driver and am lookn for mods that are show quality n performace..love the HKS, and the sound at first was lookn for a GREDDY-APEX WS2 kinda hum,but thnkn these Gs need alittle more rumble out the back lol..

Correct, the Koyorad V series are made for the MT, the Koyo A2258 has the transmission cooler lines but its not aluminum.

Rather than following my suggestion maybe he has an extra $300+ he needs to spend. All I can do is offer my best advice in situations like this and hope they have the common sense to listen. It's totally possible he could buy a new radiator and still have a small leak in his cooling system....

A2588 is the AT one, currently.

As said tho, I'd check the system checked. Radiators usually very obviously leak (read: you can see liquid on the fins themselves) and the smell is most likely dripped coolant on a hot engine part.

Radiator coolant doesn't smell pungent unless burned.
