OEM Trans fluid- DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!

All the posts for AT fluid change warns to use OEM J (S) Matic Nissan brand fluid. Well I call BULL$@IT! Flushed @ 65k with 8 quarts of LUCAS (J matic compatible)- My car didn't shift this good with 8k on it.. So DON'T BE SCARED!

yeah....I know someone who jumped off a bridge and lived too...doesn't mean it's safe.

Yes, everyone knows this now...there are still a few people out there that stick to the book but j/s-matic replacements are all over the place

If your transmission goes and they find that you have some other fluid in there, they could say that it was because you didn't have OEM fluid, so I'd rather not take the chance. You never know how the dealer is going to react when something breaks. But if you're happy with it and you're out of warranty then who cares!!

our old *** cars lol, i say over the half the forums is no longer in warranty...no warranty no care

Everyone has their opinions, here's an if you've been using Nissan trans fluid and your trans is shifting as intended why change fluids? I use AMSOIL synthetic fluids every where else but my AT. If it's not broken, don't fix it!

Gary, probably because Nissan rapes your pocket for their rebranded dexron 3 fluid...

And how will they tell if the trans fluid isn't OEM spec?

The fluids are identical....
