How to achieve quicker revving.

Stock 05 6mt coupe, and the time it takes from when I blip the gas to actual rev is probably about 0.5 seconds, but it's enough that it drives me insane. Buddy has a 89 c4 Vette and the throttle is so responsive, so fast, its amazing. Makes downshifting so much fun.

Would just a lighter flywheel, whole clutch in general fix this

A light weight aluminum flywheel will allow you to rev up quicker but it needs to be combined with a slightly stronger clutch for more clamping. Although you may dislike all the noise the aftermarket flywheel makes....Gary

I havent personally looked, but you can by a signal booster for drive-by-wire cars. Sprint booster comes to mind. fairly expensive though at ~$300

A tune will probably help with throttle response.

They're only for automatic cars.

Getting rid of the 30 POUND stock flywheel make a HUGE Difference, Here is a Video of the South Bend Aluminum flywheel in our 370Z.
Revs are crazy fast now where it was lethargic before.

Not only does it free rev faster but the power delivery is much better also, Big seat of the pants difference!

its the difference between electronic throttle body and cable. If you tap it less than 10% the computer gets confused so there's a slight delay in the revs. Like others have said, a tune should be able to fix the delay if it really bugs you that much.

Before you go out and replace your flywheel and other rotating assembly parts to increase rev time, i suggest driving a setup like that.

The downside of lighter rotating assembly is you lose the inetia of the flywheel that helps with daily driving activities. Hard to explain, but you definitely will need to change your driving style. You might not even like it to be honest. I know I didn't (on a Mustang)

Thankfully we don't have Mustangs!

Our cars are geared so low it really does not change how they drive that much, We have A LOT of people in this same set-up that have NO issues with driving the car. in fact they say it's easier to drive smooth than the clunky/jerky stock set-up and we feel the same way about it in our 370Z. .
