Had 2 bolsters over the years covered under warranty and "good will", The dealership ate the upholstery work, but those cushions are very pricey if purchased new. Crappy materials as usually for infiniti with fit and finish as an afterthought.

My tear is getting ridiculous lol. There's gotta be a LA/OC shop out there that deals with this kind of stuff. I'm fixin' to skin a cow and do it myself.

find it hard to believe no one knows ONE shop in LA to do the repair lol. im sure any auto uphostery shop can do it tho.

btw i find the tsb a bit funny. how does a sharp edge plastic inside the seat cause a tear outside of the seat lol. i think infiniti just blamed that jus for the heck of it becus they wouldnt want to have the outside plastic frame area altered. but ive been planning to stick some black tape on the edge of plastic area where im sure the leather was being cut up at to prevent any future tears

Try Kenny's upholstery in Mission Viejo jay. they do MV Infiniti's cars. Repaired my G's front drivers seat torn in the corner near the door between 100 to 150 bucks or less. they also put in a used drivers front seat I got myself, in my corolla for bout 80

I called a place here in Baton Rouge for my 2003 g35 coupe and they quoted me roghly $1200 to re-cover them brand new to factory look.
