Few coupe exhaust questions.
Like everyone else is saying. You get what you pay for. I have an xo2 system on my Coupe. Sounds pretty good, but it makes the Beautiful VQ noise sound muddy and too low. Also fitment was absolute Donkey Dick. Nothing lined up, and spent about 4x the amount of time it took to install to pry on all of the bends to get things to line up and sit properly.
All in all I would never ever buy another xo2 system for it. But ****, I bought mine "lightly" used and paid 100 bucks for it so Im not too torn up about it. Ill just save for a nice MD system, as you should too.

But to the OP, base it off of what your overall goal is. And as Gary mentioned, the quality of the material won't be nearly as good as a "real" system so know what you're getting yourself into.
And that's the thing, everyone has different experiences with the same products which is sort of interesting. There are many people, like myself, who would LOVE to have a MD system or something better, yet 1) we either can't afford it at the moment (like me, I'm a full-time student) or 2) we just don't need that much out of an exhaust as far as trying to squeeze out every HP out of our engines for drag/road racing, etc.. I'm not saying I wouldn't consider an x02 either, however the obvious choice would be to wait and get something that much better if at all possible.

Not only that but alot of peoples tastes vary so its all subjective anyway. Thats probably another reason experiences vary. Someone (as well as others) mention the "beautiful sound of the vq" where I personally think the vq is one of the harshest overall worst sounding engines I've ever heard. The G's amazing sound is all exhaust IMO. But thats coming from having a Porsche engine behind my head in my previous car haha.
Yeah that's true. I personally love the stock tone of the G exhaust (it'd be nicer if it was a little louder IMO). A friend of mine with a shop said he hates the bubbly Subie-ness of it. Not saying I wouldn't go aftermarket lol.
This forum is no longer helpful to me at this point so getting banned is something I couldn't care less about. Speaking of outrageous statements though, some of the boots in your own section need to get checked.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

I'll admit even I don't spend much time here anymore, usually log on just to moderate. And yes I was kidding and you're right about some of the knuckleheads in the sedan section.
