G35 Newbie Questions
That's exactly what I was going to ask. There's a chance that whoever last changed it may have used subpar fluids in the transmission resulting in unusually notchy shifting. You might want to also make sure that your tranny fluid is filled to spec. Low fluid can result in noticeably notchier shifting.
It's more the roughness when shifting gears that disturb me I've driven a few cars where it's shifters are smooth and easy to shift but on my g35 it's so rough and due to that it lacks my timing whenever I wanna go fast
^^^ Go with what they said and find yourself a nice pair of 06 projectors, you won't regret it. I just picked up a nice clean pair for 375 last week! There is always some popping up in the marketplace.

I never found my clutch pedal stiff not with my stock clutch nor JWT. My only complain was the engagement point. Too narrow, the RJM pedal made taking off and 1-2 shifting feel proper. It definitely wasnt.
Were these other cars that you drove front wheel drive? With RWD cars, your shift lever goes directly into the transmission, so they tend to have a more mechanical feel to them. A front wheel drive car has the shift lever connected to the transmission by a long shift linkage that runs all the way from the shifter to the engine bay. The shift linkage can absorb a pretty good amount of the mechanical vibes that you normally feel in a RWD transmission.
I bought this over a year ago. Well worth every penny.
