G35 Newbie Questions

I have an 03 g35 coupe Manuel. I want to get aftermarket LED headlights that cost 350 on eBay but it says that it's only for OEM headlight or something. How can I know I have OEM manufacture on my car? It hasn't been upgraded from the only previous owner or anything everything's.

Huh? If you, nor the previous owners have changed the headlights on the car they are oem. If you're buying an aftermarket entire headlight replacement it wouldn't matter anyways since you are going to be switching them out.

Hello Manuel, the aftermarket lights should fit on your car if they are made for it. You just take the old ones out and put in the new ones. You could probably sell your old ones pretty easy. Which lights are you going to get? Copy/Paste the ebay link so we can see them.

How can I make my shifter less rough to shift??

I have an 03 g35. It's all clean title and wel maintained but its really rough to shift with it. I bought a short shifter hoping it can make it shorter obviously and smoother but its only a tad but better and I hate it cause it slows my timing cause of the roughness. Is there any solution that I can have a smooth way to shift gears?

How can I make my clutch pedal less harder to push?

I have an 03 g35 stick and my clutch pedal is pretty hard to push. It's been in well maintained and has 99k miles. Is there any way I can make it less harder to press?

Check that DIY thread that I posted in one of your other threads. There's bound to be something related to that in there.

Those lights will fit your G35. It says something about needing additional wiring for the "Halo" so I don't know what kind of wiring they mean. Either way, they should work just fine on your Manual G35

VIt's manual not Manuel lol

As for the headlights I would recommend going with 06+ projectors. They are much cleaner and serve a much better purpose.

Most aftermarket headlights leak condensation inside, have a horrible cutoff line, look shiiit. Also many of them are halogen, so you're actually downgrading. And the ones that take HIDs usually have H1 bulbs which aren't even that great.

Save up for a decent mod, don't rush and by POS parts just to make your car look fancier.

Nice > rice.

Our cars are known to be hard to shift smoothly, mostly due to the high engagement point of the clutch. Some claim that the rjm clutch kit allows you to shift smoothly more easily, but besides that it is really just learning how to shift on our cars better.

Do you mean that the car bounces a lot when you shift gears and let the clutch out.... or do you mean that moving the gear lever through the gears is notchy and not smooth?
