H.I.D light issues on AUTO

whatup driver,

Has anyone had issues with the HID light coming on when it is set on Auto only? The driver side HID does not come on when i go into a tunnel or dark areas so i have to turn it off and back on.. and afterwards it works fine..

is it a ballast issue?

Had the same issue few months back and few weeks later it stopped working completely. Turned out to be the bulb.

Being on auto has nothing to do with it, it usually takes couple of ignites from the ballast to light up when the bulb is giving out
