I've got the same code on my 05 Coupe. I replaced the Passenger side Cam Position Sensor, the light went off for about 2 days, and then came back on. I've been driving it around though, since performance isn't too badly wrekd but the light is still on, and low end performance sucks ***. Reading this post I tried looking up part # 23731-6J90B and it keeps giving me the Bank 2 Cam Position Sensor.. is this the part?? Because you also said that it is about 6" away from the bank 1 CPS, making me confused of what sensor you're talking about :P I mean i don't mind replacing the Bank 2 CPS sensor as well, but just wanna make sure it will get me closer to flipping off the CEL

Thanks a bunch for your time!
(Super new to this sorry)
I know this is super old but did y’all figure out the sensor name I’m also confused on the same issue and fully stumped as the cps came up when searching this Part #. I’ve already replaced both CPS and misfire is still present but more intermittent and less rough than before. Drove it for about 2 weeks on the misfire as performance wasn’t bad at first but got worse as time went on. Where do I go from here I don’t want to keep throwing parts at it n they not be the cause of my issue but

What codes are you throwing? A lot of misfiring comes from the ignition (spark plugs, coil packs etc)

It could also be oil leaking in the valve cover tunnel's were the spark plugs & coil packs go. Check it out.
