I actually like the 18s better as well. I wouldn't say they are significantly better looking than the 19s, but I do like them better in general.
Most likely I will, however, pick up a set of 19s when my current tires wear out and make the 18s winter wheels.

the 04 didnt come with a beige leather interior and now i can have my 'dream combination...black exterior/beige interior. not to mention 19" rims, 298HP, true ALUMINUM console and finally............BEING ABLE TO SAY THAT MY 'G' HAS MORE HP THAN YOUR 'Z'..............PRICELESS!!

The interior is subjective. I think the 05 sedan's interior is much more improved than the 05 coupe. You gain 18 HP, you lose 10 ft-lb of tq and you gain 100 lb. So stock for stock, I don't think there will be any difference in term of performance. Add TS flash to the 04 for 600 and you can get the 7200 RPM redline, more HP and more TQ. So unless you're in love with the 05 interior, I see no point in "upgrading" since you'll be losing 8-9k.

Another good point. Did you determine how much you will be losing yet?
BulletproofG35, i dont want to use the word 'lose'. im estimating a difference of around 10k, which is approx and extra $160/mo with 2k down. of course now your paying interest over that five year period, but you can always pay more.the warranty should be able to be transfererd so that saves about 3k. for ME, it will be worth it, with no regrets.
you cant get something for nothing, so one cant expect to get an 05 for an 04 and pay nothing. so if you can afford it, and it wont set you back, then go for it!
