The stock inserts should just clip in, I know they work that way on the sedan. But good luck with whatever you decide, the mesh would definitely be different.

They are molded/glued into the bumper on the coupes.

I don't remember exactly.. probly not more than 20 bucks, sent him a pm. I would go with plastic over metal, easier to work with and bonding like materials together is better I feel. You could even get some epoxy.. just be careful it doesn't drip everywhere.

Used the same method as blackgspot. Although, the vendor I sourced the mesh from is long gone (customautomesh). Took several attempts before finding a method of securing the mesh with epoxy and small blocks of ABS plastic.
