Whoa dude....chill out...its good that your attentive but its not that bad. Everything you listed would take you a couple hours to go through. By the way, all that stuff is standard and YOU will get it..if not, you will know within a few days if something is missing (i.e. it will affect your driving, it will go bad after some use like the stereo). I am not saying that any of the stuff Iv'e mentioned has or will happen, but the stuff you listed is just stuff "you trust" will be on your car. And if anything gets exposed, it will be a sticky just like the mis-advertisement about the 05 AT having a VLSD. Maybe it wasn't discovered before, but it is now and all those that confronted thier dealer got something (whether it be cash back or installation). Nothing goes undiscovered in the world of G-Crazed enthusiasts.

Wellz, as for me. I had my bro and my friend go along with me. I had told them to check out the car for me while I'm doing my paperwork. So that was very helpful for me or I wouldn't have thought bout checking it out throughly as my bro and friend would of had with their extra time. When your signing those docs, your just anxious to get in the car and go off on it. There was a slight scratch on mine, but I wasn't gonna be picky about it, its black and its a car, its gonna have stracthes on it, but wasn't a deep one, so it didn't bother me. So my advice is to bring a friend or family member with you. Good luck!

Didn't have wheel locks? So, they're not standard on a fully loaded '05 6MTc then?

and 4th brake light, I don't understand. Make sure it's not there, and it's your favorite part?

Thx for the info on the deck, btw =)

heh, sorry, didn't read page 2...

I understand, I'm not gonna check *all* of those things (not sure how'd I check the suspension stuff, or the wiper-speed crap, or some of the safety features)...I'll pare that list down to the important things that I can get to in a short amount of time. (is my infiniti clock there? )

Also, I've got 2 buddies who are gonna check it out with me...one owns 2 Lancer Evo's (a loaded '04, and a new MR) as well as an S2k. The other owns an S2k and a Wrx...both have bought multiple new cars, and have a pretty good idea what to look for (general stuff, not G related).

I'm just, purposefully, going a bit overboard. It's my 1st new car, and the most $$$ I've ever spent on one thing

I really do appreciate all the help, guys, the suggestions and info from everyone on here definitely make me feel better about going into this.

4th brake light...

if your car doesnt have a spoiler, there is a brake light in the rear deck, near the back seat... if your car has a spoiler, then theres a brake light on it and they remove the rear deck brake light so as not to be repetitive... its a pretty clever thing to do!

oh.... AND CONGRATZ ON YOUR CAR!!! drive safe the first 1000 miles until you learn your car, its very easy to put curb rash on the rims so dont get too close...

Im still in shock!! IM sure you will not have a problem. My car is 100% flawless I can not find anything wronge with it. The only problem was the clock was not set to the right time. 9.7 miles on it and they even gave me a full tank of gas. That ment that somebody drove the car to fill it up. that pissed me off. You will be happy
