Just bought my car last week and the door light doesn't work. So, I decided to took out the plastic cover and there is no wire harness. does anybody face the same problem? is it manufacturer error?

there's not even wire in there and i feel like the plastic covers there were just for decorating. I'll try to upload some pix when I get home this weekend

I don't think there are wires. If I remember correctly, the bulbs are the little fuse looking ones.

One of the first things I did when I got my 06 was put in some LED's in the interior/trunk. This thread reminded me that none of them have gone out! I put blue ones in my doors and I still like them.

Maybe it's not a light at all, but a reflector? Any new member could make this same mistake, a smile is enough but no....LYAO

That pic did help. There isn't a light in there. It is only a reflector so cars can see you when you have your door wide open.

Well there should be a door light unless they changed it in 05+. My 04 has a door light & that plain reflector thing.
