SEIBON TS hood installed! Paint it?..

Hey guys just installed my SEIBON hood yesterday and I cant decide if I like the carbon fiber or not, or to go ahead and paint it LP to match?.. Is carbon fiber played out theses days?

Fitment is good for an aftermarket CF hood. I know SEIBON is know to be pretty great in the fitment department. Gaps on the sides are a little more than than stock and more than I care for, but they are even at least after a few adjustments.

Getting the hood to latch was a b1tch! Had to loosen the hood, pull it forward as far as it would go, remove the rubber stoppers to realize that wasn't the issue and reinstall, adjust the latch via raising it and "adjusting" the latch spring so it wasn't so tight. The hood is now latched tight!..

Here are some pics for reference. Let me know...

I'm leaning towards if I do decide to paint it I would do the entire hood.

My opinion, the best looking C/F hoods are painted and the vents cleared or painted high gloss black....gives me wood!

I can't imagine painting that nice hood would make it look better than it already does. There is no going back once you do! I say keep it as is for a bit then maybe just get it wrapped.
