So this happened to me the other day (don't mind the massacre of bugs) and I want it gone. Honestly I am not that handsy of a guy when it comes to my g, I normally let the dealership deal with the problems I encounter. This seems like a problem beyond the dealership so I was reaching on here for help. I believe I have a two options, get another bumper or fix it myself.

Where do I look for front bumpers? I have googled it and looked in the vendor classified. Any website recommendations or places? (I live in northern California)

I know to fix it I should get on the inside, bang it out with a hammer and touch it up with paint. How do I get on the inside?

A hammer?! The bumpers are plastic...either wait for a really hot day or use a heat gun to try and pop it back out.

Or just order a new or different bumper. Perfect excuse for a nismo bumper now lol

That should pop out easy because it's plastic. Do it sooner rather than later. You can try to heat it with a hair dryer prior to trying to popping it out, that might make it easier.

As others said use a hairdryer and heat it up until it pops out.

This is what I would do. It would make it a lot easier if you remove the front bumper (there are tons of tutorials on the forums, just do a quick search for removing the front bumper). Hopefully should be close to new.

The bumper is very pretty basic to remove. It's not going to look new again though, hate to break it to you. Look on YouTube for a DIY video for the removal

i wouldnt remove the bumper. its gonna make it hard to push out the dent. jack up car. remove the engine guard. heat bumper and push away

This should pop out pretty easily. You can probably do it in few minutes with a simple trick. Get a dowel, like about a 1/4 - 1/2 inch thick. Use a hot glue gun and get a good glob of glue on the spot and stick the dowel in. When the glue is nice and hard you might be able to just pull the dent out. Heat up the glue and remove it. That's pretty much the same technique as paintless dent removal.

Just for reference, why wouldn't you use a technique that would be used if you went to a paintless dent removal shop? Its not an uncommon method in body work for small pops like that.

idk exactly wat pdr shops use but my understand is they use tools to push and massage out dents from the inside.

Gotta tell ya........ those are some LMAO posts! Dent can be pushed out from the inside while heating the outside. Ask one of your friends to help you. You could also check your directory for a paintless dent removal shop in your area. My guy is called Mr. Dent.

Just heat it up and slowly push it out, touch it up, and done.
