Hey guys I'm new to this forum. I just recently purchased a 2004 g35 coupe and I had terrible gas mileage. Soon after I had a misfire in cylinder 1 and I went ahead and did a completely full tuneup with Bosch spark plugs and K&N air filter. After that I thought id get good gas mileage but on my full tank I am getting about 11-13 MPG. From full to completely E. Is there any suggestions or anything that y'all know of that I can do or replace that would give me better gas mileage? And I live in Texas so start up doesn't take much mileage it's not cold! And I've also been driving it like a grandma just to see if Id get any better mileage but absolutely nothing changed. So if there is a solution of any ideas y'all can help me with id really appreciate it! Thank you guys!

Okay I took my G to the mechanic to get the front sway bar looked at and he said to remove the hotchkis swaybar and install a new oem one with oem bushings, but he said the endlinks were fine. what do you guys think should I just remove hotchkis and go oem or just buy new hotchkis bushings and new endlinks? (hotchkis bar is very loose and making alot of clunky noises and steers too much atm)

If they aren't greased well enough they can make noises.

The previous owner had installed them, so I am not sure. But the mechanic showed me and shook the sway bar it was moving all over the place, he said the end links were fine. I believe the bushings are destroyed I am going to check tomorrow and lift the car. It's all in your owners manual, just take a look and you'll find your answer. My vanity mirror is a 1.32 watt, but I have an '06.

Hey I have been trying to fix the clunking sound at the front of my car for awhile now and also my steering wheel overturns when I turn it in any direction and I have to move it back to straight because it does not straighten it self out, I have Hotchkis sway bars front & rear (1st gen no stopper) and I know that the sway bar is causing the clunking, I have changed the endlinks and re greased the sway bushings. But the sound still consists and the steering is still the same, should I just remove the hotchkis and put an oem front sway bar on? and can I leave the rear sway bar hotchkis with a front oem?

^Its probably just the bushings for the sway bar. Mine does not have the stoppers either and it has never made a clunking noise.

I do not think the old owner ever greased them so they may be destroyed, do you know what kind of bushings I need? will any brand do?
