Currently have 06 with Bose sound system. Love the sound quality compared to other cars I've been into (love the bass)

Although, I've heard about drivers upgrading their amps here in the bose system. Changing out the amp will give even better sound quality? Also, heard it just goes in the back in the trunk. Is it a pretty easy DIY? Anyone know how much an amp would cost? Thanks in advance

U can remove it and use a restore kit. What u do have to worry about is pulling the clear layer off of the lights along with the tint.

It will look like material has chipped off and expose a dull surface on the headlamp.

weird didn't know there was a outer clear layer of some sort on headlights. wats the story behind that pic? people sand down the outer lens all the time to clear it up. that wouldn't be able to be sanded down?

also if the tint is some type of film or vinyl Im sure u can heat it up and peel away and most of it should come off in one peice

Ur first question is something I haven yet tried entirely as mines are chipped at the corners like this. I was able to polish it with a little clarity, but not glossy shine. I will still be ordering new lights since the side strip is yellowed.

when I bought my car the lights had a weird hard coating from the owner trying to clear the haze. least that's wat the shop guy said. he was able to show me by chipping away at it to show me. they sanded it all down and polished it. was good to go

naw im talking my own headlights. the previous owner tried to take off the haze using something on it and I guess it harden. so the guy had a tough time sanding it all down. nothing to do with you situation. for tinted lights ive only ever known of the vinyl type which is like a sticker. that should come off easily imo. if ur thinking of window tint type film I doubt that's wat was used or doubt its even possible to apply to headlights. it needs a flat surface for window tint to work I think. but im no tint specialist

if ur worried jus take it to a shop that does headlight restores. they'll take care of it for probably only $50
