Some came with spoilers from the factory which don't have brake lights in the rear deck. Others had the spoiler installed at the dealer which would give it 2 brake lights, so both are possible.

Hey guys, new to the VQ Family I was doing some spirited driving and got to 100 then clutch in, neutral, and my engine completely shut off. Any ideas what this problem is? It happens everything.

My car only has 60k miles on it and I meticulously maintain every part of my car. Im thinking it could be electrical along with the sensor.

Doesn't matter. When my first sensor failed my car only had 4xxxx miles. Age of car plays a role too. My car was probably 7 years old by then. Then there's the its jus gonna break when it feels like it factor

Okay well I'm all for being proactive. How would I go about replacing them. Is there a thread made for this problem?

Member silver Tiburon made a post called DIY can sensor change easy version. It's as simple as taking off the air intake for the drivers side access, and reaching in for the passenger side access. They are about $50 a pop aftermarket or $120 from the dealer. I have replaced each of mine with aftermarket (auto parts store) and they've lasted a year so far.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I've been afraid to get past 100 for weeks now because of it. Literally
**** myself when it happened.
