Depending on the angle, an ironing board could produce quite a bit of downforce. It just wouldnt look nice, and would have a lot of drag. But lets be real here, aerodynamics on street cars (adding wings, diffusers, etc) has minimal effect. In general it is just for looks.

Will rear camber bolts be enough to get the wheels back in spec if I plan on getting S-techs?

Sticky clutch and sounds

I have a 06 g35 at 70,500. For some reason my clutch started to get stuck at the half way point around 15 minutes into my drive. It just started happening, and than I also hear a scraping sounds coming from the front left wheel well when I take off in 1st.

Stuck meaning it won't come back up and you have to lift it with your toe? If so, then that's a common issue and the easiest fix is to bleed/flush the clutch line with new brake fluid. Takes 5-10 minutes to do, perfect if car is already in the air for an oil change.

If stuck meaning you can't press it down, then that's another problem that I don't have an answer for.

Scraping sounds can be a few things, most common are the brake dust shield rubbing on the rotor, or worn brake pads.

DIY Muffler Delete Causes Loss/Gain In Power?

I recently bought a 2004 G35, and the guy I bought it from put an Infiniti Q50 exhaust on it and cut it off about 6 inches past the catalytic converter. I would like to know if this causes any gain or loss of power, if it doesn't I will just straight pipe it back and put some tips on. Any suggestions or tips for doing that would be nice also. Thanks! --Adam

Help?

I'm sure this question was already asked but..what is the biggest rims and tire size I can install on my 04 G coupe without any modifications? And if anyone has any recommendations on the rims/tires size is best. Thanks

Id say with stock suspension you could probably get by with 20" wheels, but with lowered springs, id say 19" is the max without rubbing a bunch.

If I were you I would buy the parts and install them yourself. It would be a lot cheaper than bringing it to the shop.

I was thinking 19" but what about the width and offset? What's the Max I can go without camber and rolling the fenders?

couple questions for you nice gents:

the splash guards/mud guards (i think thats what they are called) are missing some of the bolts or plastic fasteners (are they metal or plastic) or whatever that hold the mud guard up and i was wondering if anyone knows what size they are and where to get some more for relatively cheap?

also, im having trouble finding a gray replacement interior piece mostly because i cant find what its technical name is, ive seen some websites call it a inner bottom door sill, ive seen it called a kick plate moulding, etc just a little confused. ive been trying to find one for a while and when i do happen across one its usually black. mine looks good but the peice that snaps it down in the back is broken so the plate just hangs there (the weatherstrip is loose because of this)

i included a picture for both questions to help clarify.

thanks!

I believe they call those kinds of parts "finishers". So it'd be a lower door sill finisher.
