Door Lock/Window issues

Door Lock/Window issues
Hey guys,
My power door lock isn't functioning on the passenger side. Will replacing the door lock actuator fix this for me or is it a common issue which requires a different fix?
Also, my drivers side window is acting. The window basically operates when it wants...for eg, for 2 weeks it didn't work, then it worked for 2-3 days and then it stopped working, etc..on and off behavior. When it doesn't work, the switch on the drivers side door can open the passenger side and the passenger window isn't having any problems...so I'm assuming the switch is ok. When it doesn't work, I can't even open it via the key on the outside of the door. I'm thinking the window motor is gone.
Any suggestions would be appreciated before I start ordering parts.
Thanks

For the passenger side doorlock, my thought is the actuator as long as the other doors function properly. The fact that it's one door isolates the problem to that door alone. If you think about what's involved with the unlock/lock functions there aren't many parts.
I don't think each door is on a seperate fuse so not likely the issue. There may be a relay on top of the actuator but I don't have the manual in front of my face at the moment.

Very common problem with our cars. The actuator goes bad and the window motor goes bad. If you're planning on doing the work yourself, I would recommend you buy a window motor from autozone because it has a lifetime warranty so if it goes bad you can get another, at least that is what I did. I've had my actuator replaced once since I've owned my car and that was 3 years ago, but you could look into an actuator from them as well, maybe it also has a lifetime warranty.
