I have a one off full cutoff system that i built for my 2004 maxima. I have built the same system for my 2005 6mt g. It will let you start the car and the car will run for 45 seconds if you dont press a very small well hidden button. I let it run for 45 seconds to let any would be thief get the car into the street, after the 45 seconds is up the car stops dead, the headlights and tail lights flash and the audiable alarm sounds.

If they get the car in the first place i am sure they will not stick around to try to defeat the system once they are in the middle of the street with the thing making all kinds of noise. I do understand the risk of having the car shut off in the middle of the street but i am willing to take the risk. I know one thing for sure, they are not going anywhere after the system is tripped.

Well seeing as G35_coupe_6MT's Prelude was stolen in South America (hint), the assumption that the theif was possibly Spanish is pretty obvious.

prob a flame war starting... but its like saying the majority of people in jail are black...
while its true its just something people shouldnt say or dont want to hear.

off on another tangent... why is it OK for some guy to call the help desk (woman answered) get frustrated with the woman and ask for the "black guy to help him", uh what the "WHITE guys" cant help you ? i hate these double Frign standards.

I know you want to have fun, PhilAnthonyG35, but please be careful with the stereotyping, lest someone mistakes your fun for discrimination.
A definite no-no here at friendly G35Driver.com

Thanks for listening

Do what I did. Let them have it. My new Denali and 99 Corvette were stolen out of my garage while we slept, and they put my son's bike in the back of the Denali, and closed the garage. I now own a dog and Blue Steel. I know I know My nieghborhood is nice leave me alone

Wow, it's incredible how just one sentence can speak volumes about the person who wrote it.

My G is protected by a state of the art security system by Sig Sauer.

For those who think the factory security system will protect you from a 'good' thief you are wrong. I could disarm your OEM alarm, unlock your doors, be inside your car and have it started in under five minutes, without damaging much more than your driver key cylinder. Imobilizer systems are tricky to bypass, but you CAN do it with a few parts. Sadly, the mechanical wheel lock would be the hardest thing to defeat before you could drive away....

All of the Gs vulnerabilities have been talked about on the forums... I think freshalloy had all the details...
