the quality inspection sheet shows I bought it brand new with 5 miles on it. In the picture it does not show any oil sprayed out at on any other parts? Why is the oil not sprayed everywhere? I took very good care of the vehicle and did all preventative maintenance by the book and recorded. Proverb 16.9: a man’s mind plans his way, but the lord is directs his steps. For some reason god wants me to go through this. idk why? Ill keep you updated.

Simple, when the piston found it's way thru the block oil pressure no longer existed. Had the dealership not put oil in your engine you wouldn't have made it home, I think you can forget that possibility. The Lord gives us challanges in life, but I believe you already know that! Have you taken the steps to order a new long block?

5AT's can consume oil as well

My '06 has drank about 1 quart of oil per 3500 miles since it was new

The owner me told me that where the hole is, it is not under compression. He wanted me to lease a new car. I already put deposit on used engine. God will repay me one day. Corporate said they cant help at all, service manager discounted some hours off labor and a loaner. Oh ya, service manager that wrote my receipt got fired. Called down next day, they said he no longer works for infiniti. Whats that all about?

2006 G35C Automatic have rev limiter right?

The car ran perfect before the oil change on 5-21-2013. The records show it was maintained correctly. This will be a long ongoing process. Will be getting legal advice and other.

U shud have push this incident hard on the dealer before u spent a penny. Now they wont help u since u have statted paying, they feel like they r out of the fire. U shud have pulled in the service manager, dealership owner/manager and the technician. You should also find out why he was fired. U shouldnt walk away with anything less than waved labor.

But you are right place it in gods hands. Sometimes its not your battle.

It's possible that some random catastrophic failure occurred and your engine failed, but with a 75k mile Nissan engine thats just so unlikely... Make another visit to the Dealership and just be a dick. Sad to say but thats what it takes when you are dealing with dealership mentality. All they want to do is get you back out the door and out of their hair. Do it when there are other customers in the dealership as well. You need to make this a big deal for them (because it is) and make sure they know that if they aren't willing to correct what is most likely a mistake on their part, then the next call they get will be from your lawyer.

In this day and age, nobody is honest anymore (for the most part). It's all about covering your own a$$ and making a quick buck to them. It's unfortunate but that's just how it is. Just ask anybody who has ever had to deal with Audi of America. Absolutely perfect example of how a company will lure you into a false sense of security until you buy a car and then **** on you once you've left the lot with the car.

Yes it does. The computer won't let it rev past redline.

Make a sign ******* the dealer and Infinity and then sit out front of the dealer. I'll bet you will get some kind of reaction from them then.

Same thing happened with my Mom's 08 Maxima with the Vq35DE. We were two weeks after an oil change (full synthetic every 10k miles). No warning, full of oil - just went. My father paid out of pocket and Nissan said we were SOL.

No problems with my 04 g35c 6mt - just hit 125k on stock engine and clutch, though the clutch was replaced by Infiniti at 30k miles by the previous owner.

just make a post on the infiniti corporate facebook page...saying you bought a infiniti and the engine failed after 75k. Someone from corporate will probably contact you. Its a immature ploy but unfortunately...you have to do things like that to get any reconciliation these days.

They'd be replacing a lot of VQs if that worked and we knew about it.

I'm not standing up for the dealership but don't you think if they hadn't put the 5 quarts in his motor there would have been a warning on the dash if it were running out?

Is there a possibility they only put in one or two by mistake? Seems unlikely, but possible. That would give him the 800 miles before blowing up.

The oil light is not a low indicator. Ive seen the 5qt. jugs at most dealers. I dont see why they would have 1qt. bottle-bottle'd it, but they may have only did 1-2 went, back for more and got distracted. With the service manager who wrote your receipt being fired, do you see a mistake on your service ticket like the wrong vehicle, engine, or oil type?
