You could switch cars and do a run, maybe it was the driver diff or like someone mentioned, reaction time because he was calling out the start.

I test drove a Z last week w/ a friend and noticed that the clutch pedal was very light compared to the G. Also, the steering was heavier and the shifter was a little smoother. The shifter is much higher up though, you feel very low sitting in that car.

I test drove my cousins after we raced and man his clutch his really light and he complained that his mt was notchy but when i drove it was smooth like butter . Maybe i should drive his car and let him drive mine like what everyone else mentioned :P
