vtc sensor

Can anyone help me identify and replace a sensor. So my car abruptly shut off after my belt snapped. Appparently when the belt ripped a piece was hittiing a wire that is connected to a green sensor. Ultimately we fixed the wire started the car and now I have a code.P0014. My buddy that works at Nissan tells me ot not the typical cam sensor flat or slanted. He claims after tapping the wire the passenger timing is off hence the code. So heres my question can anyone help me identify and replace this green sensor connected to the vtc.Be mindful that it is on the front of the engine and you will see it on the first pic in this thread.
