G owns stock GT's even the new 300hp GT

 

The G coupe weighs more because of all the luxury features it has installed, all electrical and mechanical gimmicks versus the bare bone Mustang with probably the only heavy thing is the V8 engine. Besides, you got a car that goes just as fast and with all the friendly interior perks to it...and better looking I might add

 

lmao - don't wait until your modded, cause chances are he will mod too then. a few bolt ons on a mustang will do wonders, while a few bolt ons on the g wont do too much...

 

I have raced 3 previous gen mustangs and have beat them all. Once from a stop, and twice on a 30 mph roll.

05 Stangs are a different story. A G will not own a new 05 gt. 05's will beat stock G.

but if the chump is only buying 04, race him everyday including sunday and take his cash and his pride. Why would you want an 04? Those are the worst cars in build quality alone.

 

A G35 is not a drag car.
Take him to a track where you have to take left & right corners....and see how far back he drops......if you can drive that is.

 

an o4 mustang and a g35 are pretty equal when stock. it comes down to who is the better driver.

 

It makes me laugh when people take the HP numbers from 2 cars and divide the HP by the respective weights and say one is faster than the other because the power-to-weight ratio is higher, while ignoring things like toruge, gearing, drivetrain, powerband, etc.

I find it pretty sad that a G35C is nearly 100 pounds heaver than a *Mustang*...

 

Come on guys a MT with more TQ vs an Auto more HP. The stang should take you down to a point then you might gain on them. Now a MT vs MT the G shouldn't have an issue.

 

Once you race with your brother, make sure your gas is 1/4 left in the gas tank. So that way, your G will be lighter and I'm pretty sure you can beat him. Also, use octane 91 or higher whatever is possible. Don't bother about the gas additives like octane booster... kinda of waste of money.

One more thing is to be sure you use synthetic oil such as Mobil 1, AMSoil or anything synthetic brand. It helps to improve performance and it can stand the high heat.
