I was wondering if anyone here heard about an aftermarket lip spoiler for the coupe. Like the one on the trunk of an M3 or M5. I heard that the one from the BMW can be cut down to fit on a sedan, but I am not the one to experiment on the car and possibly waste some money. Does anyone know anything about these for the coupe??? THanks in advance!!!

I have an M3 lip that I will be modifying for the coupe when I get a chance to do so. I will post pics when it is done.

I was going to buy a M3 and I would've chosen the spoiler delete option at no charge. Guess that shows what I think of that little lip spoiler.

I will also be buying an M3 spoiler and modifying it unless i find it on the site mentioned on one of the posts here. Someone else on this site said they were close to doing it and would post pics. I am very interested in seeing them. I think it will be very nice.

I seen one the other day on a M3 and it looked plain as jane... and for the money it's a waste !!

Dude just get the rear lip spoiler from IMPUL. It looks very tasteful and similair to something you would find on the Audi TT or the M3. Peace. [img]/w3timages/icons/cool.gif[/img]

Yes, I know about that. I also know that the price is completely absurd. Over $400 for a thin peice of plastic? You have to be kidding me!! If it was $200-$250, then we are talking!!!

i have a spoiler made by AC for E46 .. it is a lipspoiler, similar style as M3's but a little bigger. the bodyshop shaved the 2 sides a little because it was too long. best of all i didnt need to drill holes on my trunk
i will post some pix when my car is CLEAN ^^

 

D, I'm sure if you look around there will be someone in the States soon that will be importing them for less. This is the only lip spoiler I have seen so far for the G. I just don't think the E46 M3 spoiler would fit or look at good. Also you wouldn't get the two extra pieces that go above the Tail lights. But again this is the only one I can find so far. I think you can get it through japanparts.com. Peace.
