Mishimoto Coolant Reservoir
Mishimoto Coolant Reservoir
Recently picked up a MIshimoto Coolant Reservoir tank because my oem one cracked, does anyone have any suggestions on how to install it since it's not really plug and play
when I installed my, I used strips of maybe 1/8 inch aluminum strip from Lowes.
I bent the tip so I have a 1" long base and drilled a hole there and bolted to the existing holes on the core support arms.
Then I used a stainless steel pipe clamp to secure the tank to the aluminum strip

Mishimoto recovery tank should have come with it's own bracket. Measure from the bracket to the hole where the OE tank was secured. With a piece of aluminum strap/bracket drill holes in both ends attaching one to the bracket, the other to the OE tank hole. (you may need to twist it to fit perfectly) That one piece of strap will secure the new tank so it will never move....Gary
