What headlights look best on the g35?

I got a silver 05 g35 and im lookin to buy halo projectors. I was lookng at the 600$ pair of spyders on carid.com but its hard to see how theyd look just off a picture. I dont want chrome ones and i want flat headlights not the ones that bubble out...anyone got any suggestions or opinions on what would look best?

Here's an idea OP. Why don't you get what YOU want instead of letting other people's opinions customize your ride. I've never understood these kinds of threads, I guess I'm too old school. I just mod my car my way and I could care less what other people think about my ride. As long as I'm happy with it that's all that matters.

I agree with all of the above.

Especially that the aftermarket headlights all suck, lol.

If you don't have the 06+ stock OEM projectors, and are even a little bit handy, join some of the Facebook groups and see if you can find some 03-05 lights cheap to modify. Make them a quad projector without having downtime (since they're not you're only set) and you'll probably end up with a much nicer finished product, a fun project you can proud of, and about the same overall cost (I recently bought a pair in good shape for 150 shipped).

I dont even think the 06 projectors are worth it. Id stay with 05. They look better IMO. the 06 projectors also aren't as great on light.

Aftermarket projectors are goign to be even worse with those mystery projectors that wont aim the light evenly or far, as well as the mystery LEDs in them that may blow out on you.

I am pretty sure you are the first person in the history of this forum to say this.

I see I said aren't as great, sorry. Of course they r better than halogen, but in comparison to other luxury projectors, their not really good. I wouldn't spend $600 on them. $600 I'd better be lighting up 4 lanes like Lexus and getting all the pretty refraction colors.

With 06 headlights, all it takes is to modify the cutoff shield and swap in clear fx-r lenses from retrofit source. $40 dollars and you have amazing lights.

No matter what you do to the 03-05 lights, they will always be crap.

Stock

$40 in modification

Compared to 03-05 headlights

I think it just comes down to whatever you think looks good. 06-07 projectors are a great route to go.
