Also in the 500-600hp range, the car really should have a twin disk clutch. That Competition Stage 3 will not last long at those power levels.

But alot of corners were cut on the build with very cheap parts that are inferior quality to OEM. The shop has no expericene with the VQ platform and I automatically distrust anyone claiming to be the best on their very first build. Also they lied about all the performance claims. Real builders like GTM let their work speak for itself. Also there is no information on who did their machine work on the block and heads.
My apologi I didn't see the rest of the Message. I think I will take it to a good shop have a all round check on it and compression test and check for any leaks. Thank you.

Why did you even come and ask if you are hell bent on buying it anyways? The smart thing to do is run far from this car.

OP-- From the exchanges, it feels to me like you want the car and you came here looking for an endorsement that would confirm your desire. I would urge you to detach the emotionalism from it and really consider what a number of posters here have said, folks with great experience in these cars.

Find something that you like with a factory turbo. It looks like everyone on this forum did your homework for you. It's an easy decision. Don't do it.

Like many people said you should know what you are going into. But the internals are very well built so it should be able to handle all the power easily though 1000 HP seems to be a little exaggerated.

My personal opinion. I'd rather own an E46 over a G35/7 any day!

Id learn how to post a picture on a public forum before buying a 10 year old modded G35 that will require some type of wrench tweaking and tuning using a computer on a weekly basis. Just saying....that flux capacitor is a beyotch if you think clicking the "insert image" icon is overwhelming

Don't do it. There's a reason why he's getting rid of it. And I bet money it's probably less than 3 months since he had his 700hp car. It's called Tuner's remorse. Car probably smells like fuel or burnt oil all day.

The G35 isn't the most reliable car out of the factory. Add the turbo and you get something that is wishy washy. Remember our valve cover is pos plastic. Not meant for excessive heat that will come out of the turbo. Your cover is gonna warp and you're gonna have oil pooling on your plugs.

I would stick with the M3. He claims to be faster than a stock GT-R? LOL, I call BS. Sure it might sound good on paper but I would like to see some track times.

And why the hell would you want a riced out G.
