i was looking at a close up shot of an R8 as i scrolled through my instagram feed and it had the rims off and couldnt help but notice from the center of the rear wheel up to where the firewall starts the two are shockingly similar.... has anyone attempted to throw the R8s rear side panel on the side of a G35 or can it be done? just nugget for thought

I'm tired of hating on people's cars and ideas for them. Personally I don't like it but why should that matter to you? I'm also tired of how similar all our cars look. I realize that they look similar because that is what people tend to like and it suits the masses but I think originality can be good too. As long as you aren't sticking fake plastic vents on it from Pep Boys then more power to you. If you do it right, maybe you will start a trend. I say do it and see how you like it, its only vinyl. Just don't expect everyone else to like it and don't be upset when they don't like it.

Personally I don't think the R8 looks that similar but is this thread talking about putting in new panels with the vents the R8 has? I hope this is where you were going with this thread and not talking about just adding the Vinyl. Couple pictures referenced above look pretty bad.
