So Cal pricing- 05 5AT
Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum. I am seriously looking to buy a G35c within the next month or so (I have to sell my old car first). From reading some other threads, I know that So Cal is pretty rough in terms of pricing for G's right now, but since I'm looking to get a 5AT, I might be able to get a better deal.
I want a 05 5AT with premium, sport tuned suspension, and aero kit with spoiler. The MSRP is $38,410 and invoice is $34,987. What can I expect to pay for this car? I don't think invoice is possible in So Cal but would $1500-2000 off MSRP be unreasonable to expect for a 5AT???? Thanks. Any comments would be appreciated.

For 2005 5AT coupe in SoCal, you can easily get $1000 over invoice if you play it right.
What would probably help is if you buy a coupe already on the lot with the color combo and options you desire (use the infiniti web site to search inventories).
Waiting until the last week of the month also helps as dealers try to make their quotas.
I bought a 2005 5AT coupe (BS, premium, performance tire package, splash guards, trunk mat) at the end of January for $500 over invoice.
Good luck with your purchase.

You should be able to get $2k off msrp. You can request a quote from the internet sales manager from what ever dealer is near you. That's what I did and he quoted me $2051.00 off of sticker without even negotiating. For the last ten years I have either shopped for my car online or deal with the fleet sales manager at the dealers. I don't like spending hours at the dealership trying to negotiate. I'm sure I could of haggled to try to get a better deal, but I got the exact car with the exact options I was looking for. 5at Lakeshore Slate, premium pkg, performance tire pkg, navi and xm radio. I got it about 3 weeks ago. I haven't been able to drive it for a few days, it's been so windy here in so-cal that I don't want it to get dirty.
