First , awesome msg about the race... the fastest car is only as fast as the driver !
2nd, the spec are out there on the STI and G35. dont need to be a brain surgeon to figure em out. and as far as looks somebody should make a poll cause i do agree they dont look good.
3rd "real men drive V8s" bah 4cylinders are great for their long power band and high red lines. all HP/tq stats being equal id take a 4 banger any day... if the reliabilty was equal, but aint gonna happen. imo the best of both worlds may be a V6 however i do experience the grunt at the low end and bland perf at mid and high. V8 is much worse... it has everything at a very low and nothing afterwards. its just how their designed and geared. now to pacify some, i know all the real race cars/drag cars are V8's or V12's. hell some of the high end luxury cars they were testing with 16+ cylinders... talk about all tq and no hp.
bottom line for me is a 4cyl is doable... though id never buy a 4cyl turbo.

Why would you waist your time creating a poll about the looks of an STI and G35 on a Infiniti forum? Duh! Don't you think people will be a bit bias. If you asked Subaru owners if they like the look of the STI, i think they might be biased as well. As a former owner of a G35, i can tell hands down that the G35 is awesome..however, in my opinion, the novelty of the G is wearing off because you see so many owners, which i guess makes aftemarket mods a must for G owners. Just my opinion!

there are general automotive sites that arent STI or G35 specific.
if 2drs didnt look better then 4... they'd never make em.personally i dont believe anybody in their right mind would say an STI looks better then a G35. however if their needs required 4 doors their opinion would be otherwise.
off on another tangent why did infiniti have crap all over the manual and inside the coupe for rear child seats. grr prob some legal BS. anybody who has ever placed a child seat in the car would know a coupe with a child seat is like a yugo with a fat person.. sure it works but wouldnt you be more confortable in an SUV you fat pig
or a 4 door car for the kids ?
I can see im fighting a battle that isnt worth the time. much like the sun rises daily so is the lackluster beauty of the STI.

@ Highlife There is NO way you can say that an STI is better looking than a G35. If you like Rice, MAYBE. My friend owns an STI and I own a G35, neighobrs, university chicks, etc. compliment me on the car saying how nice it is. I bet you, as my friend, never get to hear those words coming out from any girl that is not your relative. It is faster than the G35 yes I admit to that. So lets say G35:1 STI:1 now add up to the quality, interior, confort and you have the G as the winner. So dont come down to this forum and start saying how wonderful the STi is, as anyone owning a G35 could easily trade it in for an STi if they thought it was better. The only thing the STi is better at, is speed.
@Z06ified and your "Real men drive V-8's" well real assh0les think that. You are meaning to tell me that your real men V-8 is faster around the track than an EVO? Corvettes look good, but they handle like crap. If you are a drag-race loser, well yeah then good luck with your straight-liner car.
