6MT will not rev past 2.5k, just replaced Camshaft sensor Bank 2

Okay so I had a SES light on with the code P0345... It called for a Camshaft position sensor replacement so i went ahead and replaced it today. I did an ECU reset and the car started but with a hardstart like before. I drove it around and no SES light went off but I cant rev past 2500 rpm or the car will flutter almost like it will stall... same thing in Neutral. I need help please!!!

Sounds like safe mode- not sure about why if you did a reset. Hope someone else can contribute.

Where'd you get the sensor from and is it OEM? Sounds like a problem with that sensor

I got the sensor from advanced auto parts, I can't recall the brand so I don't believe it was OEM. I replaced Bank 2, drivers side. Code was p0345

Use CRC MAF cleaner, works like a charm.

Okay so I returned the sensor and bought some of that CRC MAF cleaner and sprayed it on my sensor's and their connectors (hopefully it doesn't do harm, im thinking it wont). When that and the original sensor was done, the car still hard started but I could rev normally without going into limp mode like it would after one rev. I haven't drove it around so I dont know if the code will come back. Hopefully not

Sprayed the MAF and the sensors and their connectors with the cleaner and put everything back. Code is gone drove around for 45 mins and it never came back. Now only thing I'm confused about is why it's still hard to start. Could it be my battery?

Yup it was a combination of a bad fuel pump the crank sensor ! Buy the whole assembly because just buying a pump and rigging doesnt give a tight enough seal for the nozzle.

Dam im having the same issue but if i unplug my cam sensor bank 2 the car runs fine just takes a while to start. If i plug the cam sensor in, the car wont go past 2500 rpm. Throws 2 codes only, p0345 and p0328 which i already replaced the the crank sensor, bank 2 cam sensor, and knock sensor. Dam g35
