If it's in good shape and everything checks out, I'd hurry up and make that deal before homie with the r32 realizes he's getting shafted...

one thing that I always live by, is that if its too good to be true, it probably is.

i understand the age difference and value and what not, but why would he want to trade his skyline if its so bad *** for a g35 that you can just find pretty much anywhere...

just food for thought

nice g35 btw, id keep that personally

Keep the G! i wouldnt want to own a car thats had 20+ years of other people working on it and modifying it. No telling what issues it has until you drive it regularly.

Even trading a good car (known issue) for an unknown car (unknown issues) is always dangerous.

Buying the car is not bad though. But you always need a trust worthy car.

Be smart be safe

I wouldn't unless you have another car to drive. These project cars, whatever they are, have a pretty large list of things that have gone wrong for people to give up on them. And usually when multiple things go wrong it's because it was not maintained well, thus why so many things go wrong. If it wasn't maintained you literally have thousands of more things that can/will go wrong.

These cars are reserved for someone who can do ALL the work, and has expendable income.

However, there is the occasion where the guy is need of reliability more than the money he's spent in the car and really almost got to the top of the mountain with it. You would just have a few more feet to climb and you have what he always wanted. This is rare though and if you are considering this to be a daily drive you should pass. Odds are not in your favor with this one.
