Hey guys I have an 03 g35 5AT coupe with 57,XXX miles on it. Sometimes while using manual shifting it has rough downshifts, im not talking about when I downshift it myself in manual I mean when I pull up to a stoplight/stop sign and it will automatically shift down to 1st. It sometimes clunks and im not sure if this is common or what. Hoping its not a major problem since the miles on my coupe are so low

 

Enlighten us on the color of your t fluid, the last time you replaced the fluid, and if you have any mods DIRECTLY related to your transmission, if you would like any help in any way at all.

 

No mods car is completely stock, and Im not sure if the fluid has ever been changed like I said the car only has 57,XXX miles I bought it at 56,500.

 

It's common with the 03/04's...this was fixed with the 04.5 models and up, just have to deal with it

 

Well im glad to hear its a common problem and nothing severe I would cry if I was already having tranny problems at 57k

 

Yea down from 3/2nd and from 2/1st is brutal..i've just learned to live with it
