No handbrake

Hey guys, this may have been discussed before, but why is there no handbrake in the automatic g35 coupe? It seems strange to me that there is only a foot e-brake. Anyways, anyone ever retro fit a hand brake into the auto models?

Seems silly to me not to have a handbrake in a sports model car. Correct me if I'm wrong lol

Thanks

What are you trying to do in an autotragic where this is an issue?

I do agree that it is inconvenient... my foot has slipped numerous times when attempting to apply the parking brake resulting in a busted parking brake sensor. Why is there a footbrake rather than a handbrake........no one knows.

I never slip on the handbrake. Maybe it is in place to keep the above from happening?

Little response because of the silly question! You don't drive a sports car, it's a "Luxury Coupe." Want a sports car buy a Miata, then you can shift your azz off and have a hand brake to yank.

so you have a larger center console. with larger cup holders and more storage space, which is what most people care about.

You need a handbrake for manual to start while on a hill, which is a non-issue with a torque converter automatic, and there is no space for a 4th pedal.

really though, why would you want a handbrake?

I mean, I bought the auto so that my wife could comfortably drive it and she's pretty short so if she had to push in a clutch she has to sit on too of the steering wheel. For me, every once in a while I like to kick it out sideways when I'm driving around in deserted spots for fun. The handbrake gives you a precise moment to turn I feel

Could have been worse. That new electronic parking brake. I'm like how is it likely to fail.
