I bought an 04 coupe 6 mt with the brembo brakes it had g37 stock 19s on it and the kid before me had coilovers on it and lowered the car since I've had it I have raised the car because it was too low for me . Cutting to the chase my problem is that when the car is initially started ther is no vdc or slip light that comes on once driving down the road a little the abs kicks in suddenly and then the vdc and slip light will come on immediately after that happens the car never has the abs kick in like that again. I have figured a few things out if I press the vdc off button the vdc off light comes on with no slip light and the slip light will come on randomly after driving down the road a few feet (around the same time as the abs would kick on) and at this time both lights would be on but the abs wouldn't have kicked in. Another thing I have also noticed is that the slip light doesn't come on untill the steering wheel is turned to a certain point for example if I were to drive in a straight line for a while the light wouldn't come on until I made a turn or went around a bend . Thus this all leads me to believe it may be a steering angle sensor but I cannot figure out if that is the issue or what the issue is

 

I'd begin by checking what size/condition of the tires you're running. There's a specific size front to back we're supposed to use, if there's a giant variance that will cause your issues. Low quality bald tires will also freak your VDC out. If none of these valuable ideas correct your issue take your coupe to Nissan and have them figure it out. Cheaper than the Infiniti stealerships by at least 30%....Gary
