But generally, here are the details (copied and paste):
For Business Associates, the VPP price is calculated as follows:
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, etc.
Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
Plus destination and handling charge
Plus marketing assessment as applicable
Minus applicable incentives
Equals paticipant's purchase price
Please note that only dealerships in the continental United States, Hawaii and Alaska are eligible to participate in the VPP.
That should cover it
Getting UNDER invoice is crazy - why would a dealer sell you that car?
I ended up with $600 over invoice on my '05 6MT, and I'm pretty pleased with that... going under invoice was NOT an option at any of the dealers I talked to!

I have a 1999 Dodge that I bought new for some $2000 under invoice. At that time I found thru checkbook.com that there was a $1500 Dealer rebate at the time on my car. Additionally there was an advertised customer rebate. I got the car for $2000 under invoice and the dealership certainly still made a profit with holdbacks and all.
