That belongs to a member here. He bought it and it had a weird vibration, sent it off to be fixed and never re-installed it to see if the issue was fixed. IIRC he listed it in the classifieds here as well.

This would be a great deal for someone local to him. Take it back to the shop, install it and make sure it works before buying it.

Does anyone know how much the stock G35 Coupe driveshaft weighs? I seem to remember hearing someone a few years ago say it weighs something like 34 pounds because it's not carbon-fiber like the Z's driveshaft.

oem is 34. aluminum is 15-17 depending on who manufactured it.

this is for a 6mt ONLY (AT flanges are different). and will not work with a 350z at all.

^All of the flanges are the same, its the length that differs between the 5AT and 6MT.

^Yeah, it was the G37's that had the 3 bolt flanges.

Even though that's pretty damn heavy for a rotational part, I can't imagine that it has much of an impact on performance for us since our cars are already so heavy and low-HP, and the mass of the shaft is so close to the center of rotation rather than on the outer perimeters as it would be in heavy rims/tires.

^I feel the same way but people with sensitive butt dynos claim there's a noticeable difference. My aluminum shaft is 18.5lbs but I had other stuff done to my car when it was installed so I can't give an accurate review.

On the automatic the driveshaft is a must have. Take my word for it, the car really digs with it.
