so for everyone who wants to add roof racks to your g35 it is possible just added mine a couple days ago and must say I'm happy with them, spent a pretty penny for them but was worth it. ill post the details of what to to get. I currently have the Yakima roof racks.

-yes the windows close there is no problem.
-yes i bike thats the reason why even got it in the first place to transport it, just didnt have the bike mount on it when i took the picture.

 

Bike mount or 25 bike mounts for ultra-JDM standard? Did you use yakima's recommended standard? Because I swear you need the spreader bar per instructions.

 

this the thing yakima doesn't have a specific unit for g35 so pretty you have to custom build your yakima bike racks, i got all the parts i needed from a previous forum where a guy did it. and it all seems to come into place just some adjustments to be made during the process. and its just a bike mount

WTF? How is tihs JDM at all.. **** these haters. I put one on mine and it's made my life much better. Functionality wins, and IMO it looks great.

 

^It's "mad JDM" because thats what all the Honda ricers do is put bike racks on the roof as a fashion statement, along with all their other goofy "JDM" mods. however if you actually bike and use it to hold things then carry on.

 

It's just odd to see a coupe with a roof rack. Power to you I guess.
