Impossible to tell by your pic how bad the damage really is! If the fenders aren't damaged replacing the front and rear bumpers should put you back on the street. You could go aftermarket on our Marketplace (verdor exterior) or visit the wrecking yards in your area. Hate seeing our coupes destroyed like this!

Nah, if its a bent frame just put it down. As hard as it would to be, we don't want bad examples of these cars out there. Good news tho! Buy a new G and start over!

They are giving me 12k for it which isn't bad cuz i bought it for 12k and put 40k miles on it.

I'm looking at a G37 coupe 6 spd. dealer wants 16k for it and won't go down. 105k miles. good condition. only thing wrong with it from my test drive was the steering wheel corner was kind of ripping and there is a slight grind into 5th gear at lower speeds. its the only one around within a 500 mile radius just the way i like it. (white/black, 6spd sport pck, surfboard bumper, etc.)

coworkers think its a bad idea. they look at it as me paying 16k for a car with 105k miles on it, but i look at it as paying 4k to upgrade from a G35 to a G37 with less miles. it's all perspective i guess. but i'm done with car payments and don't want to take out another loan.

what do u guys think?

keep in mind how far back our bumpers stick out. the pictures make it look like a mild accident and i admit myself it doesn't look that bad. but in person it'll make you say damnnnn.

If this is a 2009 or newer it sounds like a pretty great deal! Edmunds and KBB seem to have very high trade in values compared to your offer from the dealership.

its an '08. what changes/improvements did the '09 bring?

only problem i have with it is i feel like our cars depreciate value quick, but they do have very limited maintenance costs to make up for it tho

I'm not a fan of the 37, so I wouldn't. Just don't like the soft lines.

also. vehicle report is very clean. only one owner and they brought it in to the dealer for regular maintenance every 1 to 3 months. only thing that sticks out the most is it went from 88k miles to 105k miles in a matter of 16 days (!!!) and then it was sold.. (owner having some fun with it?). thats like driving from boston to los angeles back and forth over 3 times...

With that kind of mileage in 16 days it would raise a huge flag. I sell cars for last 11 years and if we saw that there would be some issues. If your going to get it take it to a private shop and have them inspect it for you

G37 is a good buy but based on your description I would probably pass on that particular car.

Yeah that realllllly weird about the jump in the mileage. Get that confirmed if you can! NO major changes in 09, just thats only 5 years old
