The nicest thing I drive is a dodge dakota and I know what 40k represents and I'm nowhere near affording a G but I still love it. Dude you registered just so that you could tell people to convince you to buy a G? wth. whatever.

This is someone that can never be a G enthusiast at heart. Sell your bimmer, buy an escalade, and put 22's with spinners on it.
And you just registered to make that post...

I'm sure I've been involved in far more track events and car shows than you have, don't talk to me about being an enthusiast.

I know how much money $40,000 is. The "just 40k" comment was to all the idiots saying "don't get it, one less G on the road!" as if their car is extremely rare. A Ferrari is rare. A Nissan is not.

Dude are you serious? You have a S/Cd G35 worth 100k? WOW man thats amazing... I dont know if any G would be worth 100K but you may have put 100k into your car...? What else you got on ur ride? Im curious to know how you would spend 100K on a G35. I would appreciate it very much.

Dude, I have both. I have a 330 with sport package and G coupe. and I refuse to drive the Bimmer anymore unless I want to save miles on the G. I love the G and the ease of power is something the Bimmer cant match. My wife drives the Bimmer, but is always excited to drive the G cause she tells me she gets so much attention in it, where as nobody notices the Bimmer. And those new 3 series coming out are butt *** ugly.

And I dont know where you get that Bimmer refinement is better than Infiniti. I would choose japanese refinement and quality over German anyday of the week, including Sunday.

I paid $3000 more for the Bimmer which doesnt have heated seats, premium sound system, and only has a 3 liter engine.

This is probably our last Bimmer for a while.

yea put about 100k in it now. Stillen Stage 2 s/c, Tanabe coilovers and spring, stillen camber kit, Ings+1 body kit w/fenders, veilside wing, Kenwood Indash w/ Navi/Surius headunit. Phonix Gold 2 Sub, 3 amps, 2 sets of interior speakers, 20 F cap fiberglassed trunk, Racing Harts 19" stagered J5 Graph and J8 Gold rims. then a lot of minor stuff. i am waiting for my AP racing big break kits and done painting the car into the same color.

Ehh, where's the 100K breakdown for all this stuff? I just don't see it. I really don't think anyone is going to believe you put 100K into a car, espeically without pics. And if you did put in that much, put on your flame suit buddy.

I had a 2001 330ci 5 speed, now have a 2004 G35 6mt. In my opinion the G35 handles better, pulls better, looks better, even smells better... just a better car overall. For me, it's made driving fun again...it's a blast!

It's not about it being rare...I'm just tired of seeing my car every time I go out of my house...I turn a corner, DG G, go to the mall, DG G, on the freeway, DG G! You know there's sarcasm in our posts, right?

Randy I totally agree with you...Which is why I was one of the people who posted this...

I second that...Stick with the other half of the population that owns 3 series bimmers...One less G equals one happy me!!!

I'm with you on this one....I never said it was rare, but heck if were going to have another G on the road I'd want it to come from someone who "loves" this car and doesn't have doubts about it...Many of us on this forum, are biased because we love this car...We loved it before we bought it, and were still in love with them years later...Id rather not have any extra G's out there with owners who don't completely appreciate the meaning of this ride...

I'm looking at a Ivory Pearl G35 6 Speed right now...probably about a 90% chance I'll go with it. I need some convincing for the extra 10% before I make the switch final. Did anyone go through with a similiar trade?
The G35 sucks and resale is bad. Its handling and performance is below average. Worse than a Chevy Cavalier. The motor needs more power. Why would you want a car like this? You need to get another Beemer. It's a better car.

well i don't care if you believe me or not. i am new at this fourm i used to go to Clubg35.com now it's gone so. oh well i be at Nopi. actly the most expsnsive parts are on Phonix Gold. that's why you probly won't see why i put in 100k in there. oh well good luck on your car. i will post pics when i get it back from the bodyshop next week.
