Do i need a new LSD with 4.08 gears?

I want to get some new gears for my 04mt coupe. Thinking of the 4.08 since they're alot cheaper than the 3.9. Would i need to get a new LSD? And would i need anything else besides that?

No, you do not need a new diff. When you buy a 4.08 FD gear kit you get a pinion and ring gear.

Don't need a new LSD, you will most likely need shims to adjust the pinion height and/or backlash. Won't know what sizes you may need until actually installing. Get those at Nissan dealer.

New seals and bearings aren't needed, but recommended.

Do you think these gears would be too much for a daily driven car or should i go with the 3.9 or 3.7?

Everybody is a little different. I drive highway a lot, so the most i would do is 3.7 if I come across a killer deal. If I had a short commute in town, or had a different daily, then 4.08 might be fun. Really up to you and your driving style, I can't say what's "better."
