Transporting problem

I purchased a 2003 G35 TT last week and the transporter went to the buyer today to pick it up so he can deliver it to me. It's 1300 miles from my house so I opted for shipping. Anyway, the buyer emailed me today and said the car would not go on the transporter without damaging the bumper or the sub frame. Has anyone else had to ship their car and had this problem? If so, what did you do about it? Here is a pic of the car I purchased.

It doesn't look that low to me. They could always take the bumper off before shipping.

. I didn't think it looked that low also. He didn't mention what type of truck came to pick it up though. I doubt he wants to hold the car any longer so I don't think he was lying?

This was his exact email to me

Just so you're aware the transporter came by today and there was simply no way that we were going to be able to get the car loaded without damaging the front bumper. Even if we had removed it the core support would have been at risk. I am working with my broker to find a solution, just wanted to keep you in the loop.

That's exactly what I told him! Did he try 2x6's or a ramp. He writes back that they tried everything. He's a performance shop in the mid country. I don't want to say the name, but I'm sure he has dealt with this before. I even asked him to send me pics of the car going on the transporter for my records. He didn't send me one pic today!

u sure ur not being scammed? I mean thats a red flag, the fact that theyre a performance shop. if I go to a performance shop to get my alignment done I expect them to have wood blocks ready to go so they can get any lowered car on the rack. id be careful dude

I'm 99.99 percent sure it's not a scam. He has a shop that does charity events, he has a website, an ebay member for years with 5000 positive feedback, he gave me his cell phone, his business phone and when they answer, they answer with the name of the shop, and I spoke to the transporting broker myself
and found out they were picking it up today. I just have a feeling they sent a ****ed up truck and the
guy was just being super cautious with the car. I'll give him a day or two and see what he comes back with. But from the pics, that car should have no problem on a standard transporter IMO.
