Hey everyone. I have posted a few times on an issue i was having with my 05 g35 cp with the trans. After getting a few codes the final end result is that the vehicle needs a new valve body. I found a used trans from a 05 rwd cp that will work with my cp. I am going to be picking it up at this end of this week and saturday i will be pulling the valve body out of that and swapping it into mine (alot easier then the whole trans r&r). Im looking for some info if anyone has some knowledge they would like to share. Im pretty hands on so i know i can do this. I found a few diy online. A few questions i have is once the trans pan is dropped which ~12 bolts will be removed to drop the valve body? Anyone know how much fluid will need to be replaced ~7 qts? Also, i will need to get a new trans pan gasket and o ring gasket for the drain plug. There is a nissan dealer close by. The closest infiniti dealer is about 2 hrs away so i would like to get the fluid and pan gasket from the nissan dealer. Does anyone know what yrs z will be exact so i can just use a 350z trans pan gasket? Any and all info is much appreciated. Thanks
