Need help modding my g35

The oil is still on the filter and oil never drys completely or there would be no point in putting the oil on there am I correct? I bet if you put my tb up to someones that uses an oil filter mine will be damn near spotless compared to there's. the k&n is not worth the extra .3 hp in my opinion.
As for the pop charger... They sound cute.

But you have not used any "special tools". And how do you know at what micron level, a particle becomes "harmless" and that K&N actually filters down to that level?
An OEM manufacture spends probably 10x what K&N spends on making specifications of allowable dirt size acceptance and makes sure it's OEM filters meet that specification.
A particle that still damaging to the engine is still much smaller than you can see with the eye and determine by looking at the engine

I mean you wanna talk about believing hype, I've actually used them for a considerable amount if time and you're throwing "studies" that other product companies have done. I think I can consider my experience a little more valid.
And yes, you're right Nissan spent a whooole bunch of money researching how to build this car. But they also have laws to follow. By your theory, their exhaust must be the best too right? And the tint of their windows must be the best at blocking UV rays. No?

I just told you how I know; I've used them in every single car I've ever owned and never had a single adverse affect. Years of using them and never once had a MAF go out, I've only bought ONE refill kit that I STILL have and have used on 5 cars over 12 years. I put well over 100k additional miles on each car (all used), except the G, but haven't had it long enough.

Believe the hype. You know how bad the filtration would have to have negative affect to a point where you can notice something via the naked eye?

This is the exact reason we put z-tubes on our cars. Get rid of the turbulant air chamber to create an easier path to the throttle body. C'mon guys, this isn't a new concept.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that better airflow for an engine (which is an air pump) increases its capability to pump more air. This is the exact reason we put z-tubes on our cars. Get rid of the turbulant air chamber to create an easier path to the throttle body. C'mon guys, this isn't a new concept.
And....
If it doesn't take a rocket scientist to prove which filter is best, then why did a retired ROCKET SCIENTIST prove it for you? Hydrazine, aka Tony, aka Motordyne, aka the rocket scientist said OEM is best for longevity and airflow.
The spray oil really just clogs up the MAF and the TB. If you like the K&N hell yeah go with it. I know which I will always go with.
There are many aftermarket paper filters and oil intake filters alike. It's really driver preference.
